Seniors Steve Serratore and Jake Scudder combined for six hits, three home runs and 12 RBI in a 19-9 eight-inning victory over Northwestern State Wednesday at Tointon Family Stadium. The Kansas State baseball team scored 12 unanswered runs over the final four innings Tuesday in a 16-4 victory over Northwestern State at Tointon Family Stadium. According to a release from K-State, sophomore catcher Josh Rolette led off the bottom of the fifth inning with a solo home run that broke a 4-4 tie and helped K-State (10-2) score a season-high 16 runs on a season-best 19 hits. Like they have all season long, the Manhattan High girls basketball team made it look easy in their Sub-State title game. (24/rv) Kansas State fell short of completing a double-digit comeback on Senior Night as they fell to (12/10) Texas, 69-61, on Monday night in Bramlage Coliseum. K-State’s five seniors were honored on Senior Night as Kindred Wesemann, Breanna Lewis, Jessica Sheble, Kelly Thomson and Erica Young played their last regular season home game in Bramlage. Lewis, Sheble, Thomson and Wesemann all started a game together for the first time in their careers.
