Facing an 11-point deficit midway through the second quarter and a seven-point margin in the fourth quarter, Kansas State came all the way back to win, 55-54, at North Texas on Sunday afternoon. According to a release from K-State, a rivalry that dates back to 1909 and almost a century of conference affiliation will recommence in 2022 and 2023 as Kansas State and Missouri have agreed to a home-and-home football series, Athletics Director Gene Taylor has announced. The series will begin on September 10, 2022, when the Wildcats and Tigers square off in Manhattan and will conclude on September 16, 2023, with a game in Columbia, Missouri.
