(AP) The Kansas City Royals don’t play the Detroit Tigers again until September. That might be the one thing that keeps them from making a postseason run. The Royals extended their winning streak to eight games with a 16-2 rout of the Tigers on Wednesday night. According to K-State Athletics, women’s basketball head coach Jeff Mittie announced on Wednesday the signing of guard Alisa Wiggins to a National Letter of Intent (NLI) during the spring signing period. Wiggins will join the Wildcats for the upcoming 2017-18 season and have four seasons to contribute to the lineup. According to K-State Athletics, fans can get their first look at the 2017 K-State Football team on Saturday, August 12, as the program hosts its annual Fan Appreciation Day at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
