MANHATTAN, Kan. (Ryan Lackey) – After climbing up the Kansas State career sack list once again on Saturday in the Wildcats’ 24-21 victory over Texas, senior defensive end Jordan Willis was named the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday. Willis picked up his first-career Big 12 weekly honor and the second by a Wildcat defender this season. KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) Alex Smith threw for two touchdowns to help Kansas City beat the Saints 27-21. Daniel Sorensen returned a Drew Brees (breez) interception 48 yards for a touchdown to help the Chiefs win their ninth straight at home. Brees threw for 367 yards and three scores, but most of it came when the Saints were trying to rally the Saints.
