Like last year’s regional, it took an MHS vs. Derby 285 pound championship match to determine a regional champion. This year. Eldon Picou of MHS was able to defeat Derby’s Nate Fowler to seal the regional championship for the Indians. 12 Manhattan High wrestlers qualified today, and are going on to the 6A State tournament next Friday and Saturday at Hartman Arena in Wichita.
