MANHATTAN, KS (K-State) – K-State women’s basketball head coach Jeff Mittie has added local frontcourt help as former Shawnee Mission Northwest All-State selection Kennedy Taylor has transferred to the Wildcats for the 2024-25 season. Taylor will have one season of eligibility. Prior to joining the Wildcats, Taylor was a decorated player at Missouri State for the last two seasons. Cam Carter is heading home. First announced by On3, K-State transfer guard Cam Carter has committed to LSU. Carter, from Donaldsonville, grew up 35 miles south of Baton Rough, Louisiana. This season, Cam averaged 14.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game for the 19-15 Wildcats. He joined K-State in Jerome Tang’s first season last year. He averaged 6.5 point per game and helped lead K-State on its Elite Eight run.
