A Fort Riley man was arrested Tuesday in connection with the rape of a 12-year-old earlier in August.
The 19-year-old Jamichael Strahan was taken into custody by Riley County police around 6 p.m. August 25th. He is charged with two counts of rape, aggravated criminal sodomy, aggravated indecent liberties with a child occurring in Riley County.
RCPD and KMAN do not publicly identify victims of sex crimes.
Strahan remains confined to Riley County Jail as of 8 p.m. Wednesday on a $500,000 bond. Further details on the crime were not released and the investigation is ongoing.
