Kansas State University has announced that it will issue more emergency furloughs.
The furloughs will be implemented for three McCain Auditorium employees beginning on Nov. 15.
The move is in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and is expected to save the university around $100,000.
K-State is working with furloughed employees on access to government benefits.
These are just the latest in a string of furloughs K-State has issued since the pandemic began earlier this year.
K-State implemented hundreds of emergency and administrative furloughs over the summer in an effort to offset lost revenue.
The university is expected to take a hit amounting up to tens of millions of dollars in fiscal year 2021.
