Kansas State University will require masks to be worn indoors on university property, starting Monday.

The mandate comes after CDC recommendations this week for universal masking of all teachers, staff, students and visitors regardless of vaccination status. All three university campuses fall within counties considered to have substantial or high transmission.

Lafene Health Center continues to offer COVID-19 vaccines.

The changes are a result of the rapid rise in cases due to the delta variant, which is much more transmissible than previous strains of the COVID-19 virus.
