Multiple notable political names and local companies contributed to Manhattan City Commission campaign funds this election cycle.

Mark Hatesohl is leading the fundraising race through October 24 — dating back to July 26 — with $15,214. Among those organizations contributing to the Hatesohl campaign are Anderson Knight Architects ($500), Shilling Construction Company ($250), C&W Insurance ($500), Chen Properties LLC ($100) and Landlords of Manhattan ($300). Personal donations came in from State Representative Tom Philips ($250), Riley County Commissioner John Ford ($100), Phillip Howe of KS State Bank ($500), Roger Sink of Sink, Gordon & Associates ($500), Riley County Attorney Barry Wilkerson ($100), former Chamber President and CEO Lyle Butler ($100) and Wayne Sloan of the Manhattan Chamber and BHS Construction ($250).
Incumbent Commissioner Linda Morse followed in second place with $8,500. Organizational donations came in to the Morse campaign from the Lloyd Shaw Foundation ($100) and Landlords of Manhattan ($200). Morse also drew in contributions from political figures such as State Senator Tom Hawk ($50), State Representative Sydney Carlin ($100), former Senate Majority Leader Lana Oleen ($50), former Manhattan Mayor Karen McCullough ($100) and former Governor John Carlin ($100). She also received donations from Howe ($500), Lyle Butler ($100) and Wayne and Cindy Sloan ($250).
Sarah Siders had brought in $7,543 through October 24, receiving donations from organizations like 502 Media ($145.35), Bayer Construction ($250), R.M. Baril General Contractor ($100), Commerce Bank ($100), 400 North Creative ($193.90) and Seaton, Seaton & Dierks LLP ($100). Current Mayor Mike Dodson contributed to Siders ($200) alongside Lyle Butler ($100), Rich Seidler ($100), Kent Glasscock of the KSU Research Foundation ($250) and Mary Vanier ($500).
Aaron Estabrook collected $6,650, with multiple names related to Greg Orman. Orman himself donated $500, as did Sybil Orman. Two Orman-related organizations provided $500 a piece (GMG Real Estate LLC and Exemplar Fund 1 LLC). He also drew in a donation from AES Project Solutions of Olathe ($500) and American Property Services LLC ($50). Other donations came in from Mayor Pro Tempore Usha Reddi ($100) and State Senator Hawk ($50) as well as former Governor Carlin ($100). He also received funds from Craig Bowser of SAVE Farms ($250).
Mary Renee Shirk reported a collection of $1,840. She accepted a $300 donation from Landlords of Manhattan. The largest personal donations on her report came from Jeremiah Shirk ($500) and Jared May ($250).
Maureen Sheahan raised $1,475 in contributions, noting $100 from TaxesPlus. She also drew in $50 from former Mayor McCullough and $25 from USD383 School Board member Katrina Lewison.
Kaleb James raised $625, with donations coming from Riley County Commissioner John Ford ($100), John and Judy Ball ($50), and former Democratic candidate for Pottawatomie County Commission Sage TeBeest ($50).
Vincent Tracey raised no money in the period from July 26 through October 24 period.
