MANHATTAN, KAN. –
Officers filed a report for aggravated intimidation in the 100 block of Parker Dr. in Manhattan on January 5, 2021, at approximately 9:47 a.m. Officers listed a 14-year-old female as the victim when it was reported a 15-year-old male suspect dissuaded her from reporting a crime.
Officers filed a report for aggravated assault and interference with LEO in the 1100 block of Fremont St. in Manhattan on January 5, 2021, at approximately 11:52 a.m. Officers listed multiple victims when it was reported a 30-year-old male suspect had threatened them with a firearm. Skylar Scheible, 30, of Manhattan was arrested shortly after on the offenses of aggravated assault and interference with LEO. Scheible was issued a total bond of $20,000.00 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Officers filed a report for theft in the 3100 block of Lundin Dr. in Manhattan on January 5, 2021, at approximately 6:17 p.m. Officers listed a 22-year-old male as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect stole his green iPhone 11 from his vehicle. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $650.00. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report for rape in Manhattan on January 5, 2020, at approximately 6:20. Officers listed a 52-year-old female as the victim and a 62-year-old male known to her as the suspect. Due to the nature of this crime, no further information will be released.
