MANHATTAN, KAN. –
Officers responded to the report of an injury crash near the intersection of Kimball Ave and Browning Ave in Manhattan on July 28, 2020, at approximately 4:18 PM. When officers arrived on scene they found a 2017 Toyota Highlander driven by Darryl Williams, 49 of Manhattan and a USPS truck driven by Kristin Berg, 28, of Manhattan had crashed. Berg was transported to Via Christi for treatment of her injuries.
Officers filed a report for burglary in the 1700 block of Vaughn Dr in Manhattan on July 28, 2020, at approximately 7:14 PM. Officers listed a 38-year-old male as the victim when it was reported an 18-year-old male suspect took his Glock 19, Springfield 1911, and 2 Surefire Flashlights. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $2,599.17.
Officers filed a report for aggravated assault and domestic violate protection order in Manhattan on July 28, 2020, at approximately 10:18 PM. Officers listed a 51-year-old female and a 27-year-old male as the victims and a 27-year-old female, a 26-year-old female, and an unknown individual as the suspects when it was reported an unknown suspect pointed a gun at the victims and a female violated a protection order.
