MANHATTAN, KAN. –
Officers filed a report for aggravated assault in the 1200 block of Bluemont Ave in Manhattan on July 30, 2020, at approximately 8:14 PM. Officers listed a 27-year-old male and a 23-year-old female as the victims when it was reported a 23-year-old male pointed a gun at them. On July 30, 2020, at approximately 8:27 PM, Austin Carter, 23, of Manhattan was arrested in connection on two charges of aggravated assault. Carter was issued a total bond of $5,000.00. Carter was no longer confined at the time of this report.
Officers filed a report for theft in the 1400 block of College Ave in Manhattan on July 30, 2020, at approximately 10: 03 PM. Officers listed a 30-year-old male as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect took his specialized bicycle. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $600.00.
