MANHATTAN — Three children were injured Tuesday evening in a crash near Tuttle Creek Blvd. and Ewing Road.
Riley County Police responded just after 6 p.m. to a two-vehicle accident involving a passenger car and a minivan. Police determined the accident occurred when the passenger car driver, 23-year-old Jaylen King of Manhattan, failed to yield the right of way to the minivan driver, 30-year-old Kristin Powers of Olsburg.
Three children riding in the minivan were transported to Via Christi Hospital for treatment of their injuries. All three children have been released from the hospital following treatment for their injuries. No other injuries were reported.
