A Wamego man’s photo won a recent photo contest, hosted by the Kansas Green Team program through the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Colin MacMillan of Wamego was the overall winner in the contest, with entries from photographers throughout Kansas.
The photos were to celebrate the unique character of Kansas, with winning photos to be displayed on the KansasGreenTeams.org home page as well as this website.
Director of KDHE’s Division of Environment John Mitchell says the photos highlight the exeptional beauty Kansas has to offer, and he hopes they will serve as inspiration for Kansans to do more for their einvironment in order to preserve the state’s natural resources.
