A Wakefield man was arrested for burglary near the scene of his alleged crime on Monday afternoon.
According to Riley County Police reports Jason Robinson was apprehended near the 9-thousand block of Madison Road in Riley county. Police say 60-year-old home owner Vinton Visser arrived home on Monday afternoon and caught Robinson attempting to steal various antiques and other items in his home on the 9-thousand block of Madison Road. Robinson allegedly left the scene, but was picked up soon after by RCPD near the residence.
Robinson was released on a $5,000 bond.

Riley County Police arrested a Manhattan woman for failure to appear at court on Sunday morning.
Faith Morehead was arrested for failure to appear on the original charges of driving while suspended, speeding, distribution of drugs within 1-thousand feet of a school building, and possession of drug paraphrenalia.
Morehead is being held by police on an over $36,000.

A Manhattan man was arrested by Riley County Police on Sunday night for failure to appear in court.
Jesse Clark was placed under arrest after failing to appear in court on the original charges of driving while suspended, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Clark was released by police on a $8,000 bond.

Police arrested a Manhattan man on Sunday evening for failure to appear in court for drug charges.
Riley County Police say they arrested Gary Smith Jr. near the 400 block of Colorado Street on Sunday at around 9pm. Smith was originally charged with possession of methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.
Smith is being held on a $25,000 bond.

A Riley County man says thieves stole a large item from his property near the 4-thousand block of Freeman road.
According to Riley County police reports 26-year-old Jonathan Katt says sometime between Friday evening and Sunday afternoon an unknown suspect or suspects stole a 500 gallon propane gas tank from his property.
Police say the estimated loss is over $1,000 and the investigation is ongoing at this time.

A woman in Ogden says an ex-boyfriend committed aggravated burglary, and violated a protective order on Sunday morning.
According to Riley county police reports the woman says the suspect entered her apartment with a spare key in his possession, and stole various items including prescription pills and a cell phone. Police say the suspect would also have been in violation of a protection order.
Police are investigating the alleged incident, and no arrests have been made at this time.
