Only KU has been eliminated, as four Big 12 teams are still alive in the NCAA baseball tournament, and two have already advanced to the Super Regionals.
- TCU needed 22 innings on Saturday night to survive Sam Houston State, the second longest NCAA tournament game in history. The Horned Frogs then beat the weary Bearkats 6-1 on Sunday night to advance to the Super Regionals, where they’ll host Pepperdine this weekend in Fort Worth.
-Oklahoma State advances to the Supers after stopping Cal State-Fullerton 6-4 on Sunday night in Stillwater. The Cowboys will either host UC Irvine or travel to Oregon State in the Super Regionals. The Anteaters and Beavers meet late Monday night in a regional final in Corvalis.
- Texas and Texas A&M will meet up for the third time in their regional at Rice as the Aggies forced a second championship game with a 3-2 victory over the Longhorns on Sunday night. First pitch between UT & A&M is at 6:00pm tonight Monday night in Houston, and will be nationally televised by ESPNU.
- Texas Tech is 2-0 in their regional in Coral Gables, Florida. The Red Raiders trail Miami of Florida 1-0 in the seventh inning of a regional final suspended by rain on Sunday night. That game will resume at 1:00pm on Monday afternoon. If the Hurricanes win, a second game will be played at 3:00.
