According to FoxNews.com, the FBI is on the hunt for an ex-Army recruit believed to be planning a “Jihad” attack against U.S. Soldiers. The recruit is reportedly inspired by the Fort Hood shooting.
The threat was reportedly confirmed by officials in the military law enforcement. Allegedly, a man identified as “Booke” told his friends of his intentions to commit jihad. Booker is also known as Muhammad Abdullah Hassan, and was recruited by the U.S. Army in Kansas City, Mo., in February 2014. He was supposed to report for basic training on April 7th, but was discharged last week after law enforcement authorities learned of his alleged plan.
Both the FBI and the 902d Military Intelligence Group at Fort Leavenworth are involved in the hunt.
