A Manhattan man currently facing three felony level charges appeared in Riley County District Court Monday afternoon for his arraignment .
Christopher Hudgins stood alongside his attorney, Thomas Addair, who stated he was still in negotiations on the matter to get it worked out. Chief Judge Meryl Wilson chose to move the arraignment date further down the road in order to allow for additional time to reach a plea agreement.
The arraignment was moved to May 18th at 2:30 p.m. Wilson also commented it was the second time he has moved the date and he “wants to get it taken care of”.
Hudgins is charged with attempted aggravated robbery, conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery, and contributing to a child’s misconduct. These charges follow a home invasion case where Hudgins suffered a gunshot wound to the face.
