Pierson McAtee, a standout player for Manhattan High School’s Boys Basketball team has announced he will walk on at Kansas State this Fall.
McAtee, a senior at MHS made the announcement Friday on his Twitter account.
The 6’6″ Forward was All-Centennial League as he helped to lead the Tribe to its first league regular season title since 2008.
McAtee before deciding to play for the Wildcats had also been considering Washburn and Missouri State.
He is the latest addition to Bruce Weber’s squad which has seen its roster go through a massive transformation this offseason with six players either transferring or being dismissed from the program.
