Manhattan Postmaster C.J. Lincoln is headed to Junction City to become their new postmaster.
Lincoln says the switch will allow him to be closer to home and save him some drive time, but he won’t leave Manhattan just yet as he plans to serve temporarily as postmaster for both cities until a replacement can be found.
“I’ll kind of be working back and forth for a little bit, ” Lincoln says. “There is a very good supervisor staff there in Junction City so I think that we will be able to handle it.”
Lincoln has worked with the United States Postal Service in Manhattan for about two and a half years and says he will miss the working relationships he has developed with people in Manhattan.
