First team junior college all-American Antoinette Taylor becomes the first player in the Jeff Mittie era of K-State women’s basketball to sign her national letter of intent.
The 5-foot-7 inch point guard will play for the Cats next season after averaging 15.4 points and 3.4 assists per game as a sophomore for State Fair Community College in Sedalia, Missouri.
Taylor, a native of Gary, Indiana, is the third member of K-State’s 2014 recruiting class, joining a pair of six-foot high school guards from the Sunflower State, Shaelyn Martin of Salina Central and Lauren Mertz of Blue Valley Northwest.
