Former All-American and Wilma Rudolph Student Athlete Achievement Award recipient Devin Dick was granted a 6th year of eligibility this past week by the NCAA. The K-State decathlete will be eligible to compete in both the upcoming indoor and outdoor track and field seasons.
Dick, a survivor of testicular cancer, had only used three out of his five eligible seasons due to redshirting in 2009 and then taking the 2011 season off for chemotherapy.
K-State track and field will begin the season on Dec. 13th at Ahearn Fieldhouse for the annual Carol Robinson Winter Pentathlon.
