Looking to avoid a season sweep, K-State managed just four hits in a 6-0 loss to Nebraska on Tuesday night at Tointon Family Stadium. The Huskers won both previous meetings in Lincoln, and scored 2 runs in the 3rd inning aided by an errors. They put the game away with a 3-run seventh. On a planned bullpen night for both teams, Nebraska’s Tyler King picks up his first win in four innings of work, giving up just one hit on 49 pitches. K-State’s Jared Moore dropped to 2-2, as he gave up an earned run on three hit in 2 2/3 innings.
