The downtown redevelopment project has seen the opening of a new addition.
Tuesday was the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new McDonald’s located on 3rd street.
McDonald’s has been in Manhattan since 1972, but has seen a redesign.
From the tear down of the old building, a newly established building is in place.
Clark Linders, owner of the McDonald’s, explains there is a lot to enjoy with the completion of this 11 year project.
“It’s the largest square footage McDonald’s built in the heartland region, which is comprised of about four states,” said Linders. “It’s the latest and greatest of everything for the customers. We have an indoor play land. We have WiFi. We have exterior seating, which is going to be absolutely gorgeous in the summertime.”
The official opening to the public will be Wednesday.
