A Manhattan is behind bars after being arrested on two warrants .
Riley County Police told reporters on Monday that just before 7:00 on Friday night, Michael Brooks (20) was taken into custody on two bench warrants that had been issued for prior offenses.
The original charges were two counts of distribution of a controlled substance, and two counts of unlawful cultivation of drugs.
Brooks is being held on a $5,000 bond.

Riley County police have received a report of forcible rape that took place over five years ago.
Police told reporters on Monday that an 18 year old K-State Student reported to them on Saturday that she was the victim of forcible rape and aggravated indecent liberties with a child several year ago. There were multiple incidents, with the last one occurring five years ago.
The suspect is a family member, and police are investigating.

A Manhattan man is left without a vehicle after an incident of motor vehicle theft.
Riley County Police told reporters on Monday that Paul Severni (23) of 2150 Westchester Road reported to them that sometime between 9:30 p.m. on Friday and 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, an unknown suspect removed his blue 2003 Chevy Trailblazer from the parking lot located at the corner of North 10th Street and Laramie. Loss is estimated to be $5,000.
Police are investigating.
