Officers with the Riley County Police Department responded to a collision involving three vehicles Monday night at about 6:15 at the intersection of College Heights Road and Sunset Avenue in Manhattan.
Kevin Williams, 34, of Manhattan was traveling south bound on Sunset Avenue while driving a 2001 Buick Century and Madison Hays, 18, of Manhattan was driving a 2006 Jeep Commander west bound on College Heights Road when her vehicle collided with Williams’ Buick. Hays Jeep subsequently struck a 2014 Hyundai Accent owned by Trenton Cranker of Lamar, Missouri while parked on College Heights Road.
Williams was transported to Via Christi Hospital. He is not currently listed as a patient there. Hays received a citation for the offense of failure to yield right of way at a stop sign and was released from the scene with no issues.

A St. George man was taken into custody on a warrant for failure to appear early Tuesday morning. Dustin Molden, 42, was arrested on the warrant for failure to appear with the original offense listed as criminal damage to property, while at the Riley County Police Department at approximately 4:00 AM.
Molden was issued a bond of $5,000.

A man listed as homeless was arrested by Riley County Police Monday evening. Robert Jentges, 30, was taken into custody at approximately 6:40 PM while in the 6000 block of Tuttle Terrace in Manhattan for protection order violation and criminal trespass.
Jentges was given “no bond.”

Riley County Police are investigating a burglary from last week. Tuesday’s RCPD activity report indicates last ThursdayRandal Regnier, 22, of Manhattan fell victim to a burglary when his MacBook Pro and iPad Mini were taken from his residence in the 2400 block of Himes Road.
The electronics taken were estimated to be worth nearly 17-hundred dollars.Police are investigating this crime and ask that anyone with information contact the Riley County Police Department directly or use the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers service
