YATES CENTER, Kan. (AP) Woodson County authorities say a man in his late 60s died in an accident during wheat harvest.
Undersheriff Glen Smith says the accident occurred Tuesday afternoon in rural Yates Center.
KCLY reports the farmer was cutting wheat with his son, who was unloading a combine. When he finished, the son began to drive away and the father was caught under the rear wheel of the combine.
The farmer’s name has not been released.
