A man from St. Marys has been sentenced to 25 years in federal prison for drug trafficking. That announcement came from U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom Wednesday.

Aljandro Oviedo-Tagle, 36,  pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Grissom commended Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and Assistant U.S. Attorney Greg Hough for their work on the case.
