Starting quarterback Jacory Harris and four other players will sit out one game and make repayment.  Defensive lineman Olivier Vernon must miss six games and repay $1,200.   Defensive back Ray Ray Armstrong and tight end Dyron Dye will sit out four games.  Defensive linemen Marcus Forston and Adewale Ojomo, linebacker Sean Spence, and wide receiver Travis Benjamin will sit out one game and make repayment.

Vernon, Armstrong, and Dye all will miss the Canes’ game on September 24th against K-State.
