COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP)   Missouri cornerback Kip Edwards is expected back this week after missing the opener with a hamstring injury, but the defense will be without linebacker Will Ebner and end Jacquies Smith this week.  Coach Gary Pinkel ruled out Smith, who has a dislocated left elbow, for Friday night’s game at Arizona State and perhaps more.  Ebner could miss several weeks with an ankle sprain.  Center Travis Ruth missed the opener with an Achilles tendon injury and did not practice Monday.  Wide receivers Jerrell Jackson (hamstring) and Gahn McGaffie (sprained knee) remained out along with tight end Erik Waters (hamstring).  Edwards is one of two returning starters in the secondary.
