What a game. The Wildcat fans who packed Wichita’s Intrust Bank Arena for the match up between Frank Martin and former K-State Head Coach and mentor Bob Huggins got not one, but two overtime sessions. When the dust cleared from the tournament intensity game it was the Mountaineers who were left standing 85-80 in double OT. The Cats were paced by Rodney McGruder’s 20 points. The junior forced double OT with a late jumper, but couldn’t connect on a late 3 to force a 3rd OT session. Highlights, Post Game interviews with Coach Martin and Coach Huggins as well as the players, and analysis from the staff of Powercat Gameday make up our wrap up video from the Wichita Wildcat Classic.
