KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) A man shot Saturday night during a confrontation with Kansas City, Kan., police officers has died.
Police said on Monday that the man was shot Saturday night after officers answered a call of an armed disturbance.
Police say the man was armed with a knife and two officers fired at him. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
The Kansas City Star reports that the officers were not injured and have been placed on paid administrative leave while the shooting is investigated.
