As part of Fort Riley and the 1st Infantry Division’s Victory Week celebration, a special ceremony will be held to honor children of fallen Soldiers.
The Ceremony of Remembrance will take place Tuesday (June 12) at 5 p.m., at the Calvary Parade Field.
Fourteen children will be presented with a medal during this special ceremony. This is the fourth time Fort Riley has held a Ceremony of Remembrance.
