By KMAN Staff on December 7, 2012 Geary County, Local News

    Update as of 12-10:

A Wisconsin man faces several charges following an incident involving law enforcement officials in Junction City this past Friday.

Michael Hall made first appearance Monday in Geary county District Court. His bond was set at 250-thousand dollars.

Hall faces several charges including attempted murder, two counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, two counts of obstructing the legal process, fleeing and eluding, criminal in possession of a firearm, and two counts of aggravated endangering of a child.

Hall’s arrest followed a police chase and subsequent manhunt Friday. It all began late Friday morning when a Geary County Sheriff’s Deputy attempted to make a stop on a vehicle on the south side of Junction City in connection with several traffic violations.

A pursuit followed and the driver eventually abandoned the vehicle. Shots were allegedly exchanged between Hall and the Deputy and the Hall fled the area.

A foot chase followed and the suspect was shot in the leg by a Detective after he attempted to grab the officer’s weapon.

The KBI is reportedly the lead investigative agency
