Skylar Diggins scored 22 points and Notre Dame had five players in double figures in a 87-57 defeat of the K-State women at the World Vision Classic in Las Vegas.  Diggans put up 17 of her points in the first half en route to a 49-25 Fighting Irish lead at the break.  Brittany Chambers scored a team-high 18 points for K-State (7-3) along with seven rebounds and four steals in 37 minutes of action, just five days removed from a sprained a right ankle.  Haley Texada added 11 points, and Ashia Wood chipped in with 10.  Notre Dame (8-1) forced 23 Wildcat turnovers, and dished out the same number of assists.

Despite going 0-2 at the World Vision Classic, K-State will play for third in the six-team bracket on Friday afternoon against UNLV.  Tipoff will be at 5:00pm, and a 4:30 airtime on the K-State Sports Network with Brian Smoller and Danielle Zanotti on SportsRadio 1350 KMAN.
