    RCPD-300x224Riley County Police saw a couple of people in jail for failure to appear.

    Jeffrey Hughes, 39, of Manhattan was being held on an $8,000 bond for two counts of failure to appear.

    These stemmed from original charges of forgery and criminal use of a financial card.

    An Odgen woman remains confined after not just one, but three separate failure to appear charges.

    Rhonda Rand, 42, was arrested for three counts of failure to appear with original charges being for two DUI charges and driving while suspended.

    Rand’s bond is $3,250.

    A report came to the Riley County Police on Thursday of a burglary that occurred early in December.

    According to the report, Joshua Bice, 23, of Ft Riley, told police that on December 8 military equipment and a tool box with miscellaneous tools were taken from his residence in the 3600 block of Saddle Horn Trail in Ogden.

    The totaled amount taken was about $3,400.

    The investigation continues.

    A Manhattan man reported a burglary of his residence earlier in the week.

    Alvin Jones, 42, reported on Wednesday someone entered his residence when he was not there and took a TV and two men’s watches.

    The total loss was about $1,150.
