Angel Rodriguez scored 21 points as #9 K-State withstood a spirited effort from TCU in a 79-68 victory on Tuesday night at Bramlage Coliseum, which was the final home game for Jordan Henriquez, Martavious Irving and Rodney McGruder.  Irving hit three shots from beyond the arc and had 15 points to go with five assists.  McGruder scored 13 points and also dished out five assists, while Henriquez had five rebounds but was held scoreless with just one shot attempt.

The Cats built an early 17-5 lead over the Horned Frogs, and pushed their edge to 42-27 at halftime.  TCU started the second half on a 12-2 run, and pulled within 44-39 of K-State with 14:29 to go.  An 11-2 run helped the Cats eventually pull away, and coast to the win.  Shane Southwell added 15 points for K-State (25-5, 14-3), and Thomas Gipson had 11.  The Horned Frogs (10-20, 1-16) was led by 29 points from Kyan Anderson.

K-State will play for at least a piece of the Big 12 title on Saturday afternoon at 12:45pm at Oklahoma State. Pregame from Gallagher-Iba Arena will begin at 11:30am on SportsRadio 1350 KMAN from the K-State Sports Network.
