    The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help from the public in locating a 20-year-old Westmoreland man.

    Family members reported Jeremiah Joseph Perry missing on May 31st of this year. Perry was last seen by family and friends on or about the 30th of March in the Kansas City area. Perry may have been in the Ohio area.

    Perry is described as a white male, brown hair, hazel eyes, about 6’1″ tall and weighs about 170 lbs. Perry also has a tattoo on his right upper arm of a Grim Reaper on top of skulls. Perry has made no known contact with family or friends since the end of March or early April 2013.

     If you have any information as to Perry’s whereabouts please contact the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office at 457-3353.

    The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a theft of cattle panels, reported this past Sunday. 17 metal portable cattle panels were stolen from the area of the 17000 block of White Eagle Road in rural Westmoreland.

    The panels taken were five heavy duty green panels, three lightweight green panels, and nine lightweight red panels. The panels are all about 12′ in length.

    The panels are believed to have been taken between September sixth and the 8th. The panels are valued at $1650.

    The owner has offered a cash reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the responsible party(s). Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office at 457-3353..
