    K-State leaps in polls after weekend of upsets

    The Kansas State Wildcats after wild weekend of College Football which saw four of the top six teams in the rankings lose, moved up in the polls this week. K-State is now ranked 16th in the USA Today Coaches Poll and 17th in the Associated Press Sportswriters Poll.

    Florida State is #1 in both polls while Auburn is right behind at #2. Baylor is ranked #3 in the Coaches Poll while in-state rivals Ole Miss and Mississippi State are tied for third after they upset Alabama and Texas A&M respectively on Saturday. Oklahoma’s ranking took a hit in both polls after their loss to TCU as the Sooners are 9th in the Coaches Poll and 11th in the AP Poll. TCU jumped to 12th in the Coaches poll and cracked the top 10 at #9 in the AP Poll.
