    Several Thefts reported in Pottawatomie County

    Pott Co Sheriff PatchThe Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a series of burglaries, thefts and damage to property reports that have occurred within the county.  These crimes have primarily taken place in the central and northern parts of the county.
    The first crime is said to have occurred between July 20th and September 20th of this year, in the area of Arispie Road and Hartwich Road.  The suspect(s) kicked in the back door of the trailer to gain entry, and damaged several interior doors and a wall.  The estimated damage is around $375.
    The second reportedly took place between June 1st and June 4th of this year, in the area of Rock Creek Road and Beulah Road. The victim reported an in-line six cylinder engine was taken from the shed.  The loss is estimated around $50.
    The next crime was reported to have happened between August 5th and August 11th of this year, at the same property as the second crime.  The victim reported the suspects entered a shed and stole two tire changers, a golf cart, a tool box and several other items.  The loss is estimated around $1,745.
    Another crime was reported to have happened between September 23rd and October 2nd of this year, in the area of Godlove Road and Wheaton Road.  Stolen items include a hot water heater, a window, and wooden cabinets.  The loss in this crime is estimated at $1,550.
    Lastly, a crime reportedly happened between September 10th and September 29th, in the area of Martin Road and Watermill Road.  The victim of this burglary reported that two chainsaws were taken from the residence.  The estimated loss in this crime is around $2,800.
    A reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of individuals responsible for the crimes.
