A former Manhattan man convicted last year of cultivation of marijuana and other drug related charges is going before the Kansas Court of Appeals later this month. Adam Hudson’s appeal is slated for Tuesday November 18th.
Hudson, 31, was sentenced in July of 2013 in connection with a February 2013 case that resulted in three arrests. Riley County Police and members of the Kansas Bureau of Investigation served a drug related search warrant to a house in the 500 block of Fremont. Kansas Department of Corrections records indicate more than 100 marijuana plants were involved in the conviction, with possession with intent to sell within one-thousand feet of a school another conviction.
Hudson is currently incarcerated at the Norton Correctional facility with the earliest possible release date listed as August sixth of 2021.
