Appearing in Geary County District Court, Jason Nazario, who faces charges which include rape, entered a plea.
Nazario is charged in two separate cases, including the alleged rape of a 13 year old victim and failing to register as a sex offender.
Nazario pled not guilty to the rape charge during his court appearance Wednesday.  He did not request a jury trial and he will appear in court on January 30th for another status hearing.
As far as the case involving failing to register as a sex offender, Nazario will appear in court next week for sentencing.
