    Arrest made in JC Shootings

    42-year old Jackie Oliver of Junction City was arrested Tuesday by Junction City Police on charges of
    Aggravated Battery in connection with the early Sunday morning shooting at the KINGZ motorcycle
    club that left him and another man injured. The investigation is still on going. Oliver is currently being held on a
    $25,000 bond at the Geary County Detention Center.

    Shortly before 4 a.m. Sunday, Officers of the Junction City Police Department with
    the assistance of the Geary County Sheriff’s Dept. responded to The KINGZ motorcycle
    club at 805 Grant Ave. in reference to a shooting victim. Upon arrival Officers
    discovered,Oliver suffering from two gunshot wounds. A short time later
    a second victim, 24-year old Derrick Dixon arrived at Geary Community Hospital suffering
    from a gunshot wound believed to be sustained in the same incident. Both subjects were
    transported from GCH to other medical facilities after being stabilized.
