WICHITA, Kan. (AP) Sedgwick County’s sheriff says one of his deputies has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated sexual battery. Sheriff Jeff Easter tells the Wichita Eagle that the 37-year-old detention deputy is jailed but has not been charged. No immediately details of the alleged crime were released. Easter says Wichita police were to provide more details later Friday.
