    RCPDReportOfficers with the Riley County Police Department arrested Dion Gant, 49, of the Kansas Department of Correction on a warrant for the offense of aggravated false impersonation on April 27, 2016 at approximately 12:05 PM.

    This warrant stems from an incident that occurred in December 2014 and had a bond of $5,000.00. At the time of this report Gant was not confined at the Riley County Jail.


    Justin Kendrick, 19, of Manhattan was arrested on April 27. 2026 at approximately 6:00 PM while at the Riley County Police Department. Kendrick was arrested on a warrant for the offense of contributing to a child’s misconduct. This warrant stems from an incident that occurred in February 2016 and had a bond of $5,000.00. At the time of this report Kendrick was confined at the Riley County Jail.


    Arrested on the offense of probation violation which was listed on a warrant from Geary County, Kansas was Joseph Brand, 23, of Riley, Kansas. Brand was arrested on April 27, 2016 at approximately 1:25 PM while at the Riley County Police Department. Brand was given a bond of $5,000.00 and at the time of this report Brand was confined at the Riley County Jail.


    Emergency crews responded to the intersection Tuttle Creek Blvd. and South Dam Road in Riley County on April 27, 2016 at approximately 6:05 PM for a report of a vehicle collision involving 4 vehicles. Officers on scene found that while in the process of turning a 2004 Subaru Legacy, driven by Sadie Jensen, 17, of Randolph, Kansas, collided with a 2015 Ford Van, driven by Shawn Pultz, 38, of Manhattan.

    Immediately after this initial collision the Ford collided with a 2003 Ford F150, driven by Rory Swanson, 57, of Manhattan which in turn struck a 2000 Honda Civic, driven by James Vesta Jr., 46, of Clay Center, Kansas. The F150 and Honda Civic were stopped at a stop sign at the intersection at the time of this collision.

    Jensen was issued a citation while on scene for the offense of failure to yield the right of way and a 16-year-old male passenger in the Honda Civic was transported to Via Christi Hospital for complaint of pain.
