    K-State volleyball picked 6th in Big 12 preseason poll

    K-State volleyball will finish 6th in the Big 12 this season, according to the 2016 Big 12 preseason poll. The poll is determined by league head coaches, who are not permitted to vote for their own team.

    2016 BIG 12 VOLLEYBALL PRESEASON POLL

    1.Texas (8)
    2.Kansas (1)
    3.Iowa State
    4.TCU
    5.Oklahoma
    6.Kansas State
    7.Baylor
    8.Texas Tech
    9.West Virginia

    Texas has been selected as the unanimous preseason No. 1 for five consecutive years. Kansas, sits in second in the preseason poll, seven points behind the Longhorns.

    K-State opens its 2016 season at the Wahine Invitational in Honolulu, Hawaii on Aug. 26. The Wildcats’ first home match is Sept. 2 against Michigan in Bramlage Coliseum.
