K-State senior DE Jordan Willis has been named to the 2016 Hendricks Award watch list. The award is given to the best defensive end in college football.

The Ted Hendricks Award is named in honor of college football’s first three-time first-team All-American. Hendricks attended the University of Miami.

Willis joins TCU’s Josh Carraway as the only two defensive ends from the Big 12 named to the watch list.

The winner of the 2016 Hendricks Award will be announced on December 7, 2016.
