ELLIS — A 3.2 magnitude earthquake has shaken part of northern Kansas.

The Kansas Geological Survey says the quake struck Wednesday about 15 miles northwest of Hays. No damage has been reported. Scientists say damage is not likely in earthquakes below magnitude 4.0.

It was centered about 150 miles away from the quake-prone Kansas counties of Harper and Sumner.
