    Opening night: When and where to listen for KSU, MHS sports

    Manhattan Broadcasting Company has your fall sports fix covered Friday.

    K-State football opens its season on the road at Stanford tonight at 8 p.m. Powercat Gameday will kickoff coverage this afternoon at 4 p.m. live from the The Old Pro in Palo Alto, Calif., on News Radio KMAN (1350 AM/93.3, 93.7 FM) and on 101.5 K-Rock.

    The Powercat Gameday crew will take listeners right into the 8 p.m. kickoff with Wyatt Thompson and Stan Weber.

    The K-State volleyball team is also in action today. The Volleycats are home in Bramlage Coliseum this afternoon against Michigan with first serve at 4:45 p.m. That coverage can be heard through kstatesports.com.

    At the conclusion of the volleyball match, Manhattan High football will be joined live from Bishop Stadium and will be streamed through newsradiokman.com as the Indians open their season against Shawnee Heights.
